My work sat between physical product development and software. I designed and analyzed hydraulic systems while building custom visualization tools that made schematics, test data, and system behavior easier to interrogate.

What I worked on
- Built an interactive hydraulic schematic tool with Electron, TypeScript, and React/SolidJS.
- Created visualization tools for design reviews and system troubleshooting.
- Translated fluid-system behavior into software models engineers could inspect and reuse.
What stayed with me
This was the bridge between chemical engineering and full-time software. Building for my own engineering team taught me to treat domain knowledge as product input, not background context.
